Jorge Diaz, CPA - Partner

Jorge Diaz, CPA brings more than 20 years of experience serving nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations.  His career has been dedicated exclusively to the nonprofit sector, providing audit, accounting, and advisory services to associations, charitable organizations, foundations, and other mission-driven entities.

In addition to his extensive audit experience, Jorge has significant experience providing outsourced accounting and financial management services to nonprofit organizations.  This dual perspective allows him to approach engagements with a practical understanding of both the audit process and the day-to-day financial and operational challenges organizations face.  As a result, he is able to deliver insights that are both technically sound and operationally meaningful.

Jorge advises clients on financial reporting, internal controls, federal compliance, governance, and operational matters, helping organizations strengthen financial stewardship and achieve their strategic objectives.  He is recognized for his deep industry knowledge, collaborative approach, and commitment to delivering timely and high-quality client service.

A Virginia-licensed CPA, Jorge is passionate about supporting organizations whose missions create meaningful and lasting impact in their communities and beyond. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech.

Outside of work, Jorge enjoys golfing, though his scorecards suggest he enjoys it more than he excels at it, and cooking for family and friends, where his results are considerably more consistent.  However, his number one hobby is spending time with his wife and their two children.
